In today’s world, China’s rise is becoming an indisputable fact while the international system is undergoing profound changes. As the important processes occurring in the same history period, China’s rise and the international system transformation inevitably generate highly interactional relationship.Accordingly, this paper apply the existing international relationships theory to systematically inspect the opportunities and challenges China faces in recent years from the perspective of international system transformation. How does the international system transformed? The dominant international relations theories have different interpretations and formed their core discourses. Structural realism argues that change of structure of great powers is the motivation of international system transformation. Neoliberal institutionalism considers international regimes as the key factors for international system transformation while constructivism locates its emphasis on shared ideas. Based on the above theoretical logic, we found that:the change of structure of great powers has a interactional relationship with China’s rise. International regimes and China’s rise motivate each other. International shared ideas construction and Chinese civilizations rise learn mutually. The gradual international system transformation provides a favorable environment and strong driving force for China’s peaceful rise. China’s rise make use of the change of structure of great powers while playing a constructive role in such a change process; China merges into the international system, and utilize international regimes as the platform to develop itself, conversely, China’s rise also promotes the reform and democratization of international regimes. International shared ideas evolve from ideological confrontations to concentrate on the common interests, which reduced the resistance of China’s rise, and China’s rise will also inject the "Chinese elements" into the construction of shared ideas. However, the constraints that China’s rise encountered in the background of international system transformation also should be concerned, changes in the structure of great powers intensify the structural conflicts between China and the United States, and it also exists between China and its neighboring countries which have territorial disputes with China. The new arrangement of global governance requires China to take greater international responsibility while ideology and values differences also hinder the forward reaction to China’s rise and international recognition.China’s rise must imply smart and effective strategies to break the constraints, beyond the dilemma:Firstly, we must continue "Keep Low Profile" policy to avoid becoming a target. Calmly deal with structural problems, seek mutual trust with U.S and establish a dispute settlement mechanism with neighboring countries. Secondly, be courageous and forge ahead, and actively promote the global governance system with the times. Play a constructive role in the improvement of international regimes, furthermore, focus on domestic reform, accelerate the transformation of economic development mode, mould a responsible great power image. Finally, seize the opportunity to demonstrate and enhance China’s soft power. Promote innovation, tolerance and absorption, to create the public spirit products based on shared interests; thereby making contribution to the construction of international shared idea.
