The rapid development of information technology and rapid expansion of the networkspace make the virtual world to be an important place of entertainment, social networking andlearning for tens of thousands of people. Since the1990s, the network game has entered theChinese market, occupying the majority of users’ leisure time. After20years of development,the market game has gradually formed a huge entertainment; as a result, a new social ordercomes about. Network game players entertain and social contact in the virtual world of theInternet, resulting in a huge consumer market. When we adjust the disputes of the virtualworld with traditional laws, new problems come about. With the development of socialeconomy and the stride of science and technology, the network game industry revenue eachyear grows exponentially and drives the development of relevant industries, the profitsgenerated by peripheral industries also can be calculated by hundreds of millions, at the sametime, the huge social phenomenon that the network virtual property disputes occurredfrequently has been free to operate outside the law. But at the present stage of our legislation isonly in the aspects of network security and there’s no relevant laws to restrain and guide thecorrect, healthy development. So the author finds a typical case, asks questions and analyzes problems and solves them through the case analysis. The author resolves the first networkgame virtual property case "Li Hongchen Case" in China, considering and expounds thetheories and facts and puts forward the solving method. The fact that we introduce only onelaw to solve the problem of occurrence of network game virtual property disputes is notrealistic because of the development of technology, the urgency of the disputes and thehysteresis quality of law. It is the best answer to find the effective solution to the endlessstream of problems.
