However the weakening of traditional family endowment function,the change of old-age security system and the quickening of the process of urbanization make some traditional endowment ways already can’t fully meet the needs of the elderly. To a certain extent, appears the "housing endowment"——the supplementary pension mode."Housing endowment" have broad and narrow sense, generalized define refers to elderly use their house to endowment, through a variety of means to achieve the purpose of the endowment process. Including renting a house for into a nursing home, living in a small house instead of the big one, housing reverse mortgage loan, etc. The narrow sense just is the housing reverse mortgage loan. This paper uses the generalized "housing endowment" concept.At present, the implementation of "housing endowment" in our country is still in the stage of exploration, in this background, this paper based on zhengzhou city, combined with the related theory abroad and practical experience, analysis the population, the real estate market, financial market, old-age security of Zhengzhou, using SPSS to analysis the questionnaire and get a conclusion, namely "housing endowment" as a supplementary endowment way in zhengzhou city is feasible, and further discussion in the implement process may encounter obstacles and solving suggestion.
