The writing ability is an important part of Chinese subject in college entrance exam, also a basic skill in people’s social life and daily work. But, according to the students’ performance on college entrance exam composition of the last years and in school work, we can see that our high school composition teaching achievement is not as high as we expected. Being influenced by exam-oriented education for long time, our composition teaching is lack of clear objective, status and significance, which makes the subject status of students in high school composition teaching weakened, the philosophy about humanistic value lacked of, teaching and examine on practical writing marginalized and so on. In order to carry out the quality-oriented education, improve the students’ comprehensive writing ability, we must find ways to solve the problems in composition teaching and the composition proposition in college entrance exam nowadays.This paper takes the composition teaching and the college entrance exam composition in Hubei and Jiangsu province as main research object. It’s divided into five chapters. The first chapter is about the composition’ statues in Chinese education, which introduces the nature of Chinese subject first, then discusses the composition’s significance and purpose in Chinese education. The second chapter is the study on the interacting and mutual promoting relationship between the college entrance exam composition and high school composition teaching, which discusses the nature, history, functions and principles of college entrance exam composition first, then tells its guiding role to the high school composition teaching and the dialectical unity between the two of them. This part can supply the following a research foundation in certain time and scope. The third Chapter is a contrast study on the college entrance exam composition in Jiangsu and Hubei province, which discusses the achievement and problems of the two big representative education provinces in central area by comparing their proposition system, full marks composition, zero point composition and the unit set in textbooks form 2005 years to 2010 years. The fourth chapter is the suggestion about college entrance exam composition reformation and quality-oriented education, which is a key part. Through clarifying their mutual promoting relationship and rethinking the education status of the central area, it gives some reforming suggestions. The last part is an overall summary. |
