Since Chinese is the most authoritative standard to evaluate education quality,the changes of the types of its questions directly influence the method of education on Chinese subject in senior high schools.The teaching methods of a teacher delivering the Chinese subject in the senior high school are affected by his perception in those changes and the problems they face in guiding students to prepare for the examination.According to my past experience,if a teacher lacks an appropriate understanding in proposition orientation of college entrance examination,he tends to give inappropriate guidance to students in preparation for the exam.Under improper guidance,students' final scores in the college entrance examination are often negatively affected.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct research on the responses of how teachers delivering the Chinese subject to the changes of college entrance examination's proposition orientation,which is also helpful to straighten out the relationship between teaching and testing and realize the promotion of teaching driven by testing.This research adopted qualitative approach and analyzed the responses of senior high school Chinese teachers in Bole to the changes in the propositional orientation of language subjects in the college entrance examination.Firstly,by reviewing and analyzing the examination papers of the Chinese subject in college entrance exam for the past seven years,I found the law of the change of the proposition orientation of the Chinese subject and I designed an interview program and a class observation program.In these two programs,I selected some Chinese teachers for open interviews and classroom observation to collected data and sorted out and analyzed the data on methods of classification and induction.Finally,I discussed the problems existing in the response of high school Chinese teachers in Bole area to the changes in the orientation of Chinese proposition in the college entrance examination and put forward corresponding suggestions for the existing problems.This study finally concluded that the high school Chinese teachers in Bole area often have different emphasis in different examination section.First of all,in the section of modern reading,it is reflected that the reading of exposition text emphasizes the skill of doing the problem while ignoring the thinking process and the reading of practical text emphasizes ‘material relevance' while ignoring ‘life relevance'.Secondly,in the composition part,it is reflected in the accumulation of hot current affairs materials while neglecting the students' real-life experience.Applied writing is practiced for a test,which not for application.Finally,in the section of language application,it is reflected that the situational test training is emphasized but the language practice is neglected.
