As one of the minority, the Uighurs students studying in different places, no doubt,isfacing some challenges and pressures. The author believes that these challenges and pressuremainly comes from the different culture to him or her to bring pressure on ethnic and culturalattitudes to rethinking. Uighur Students from the mother culture to come out to differentplaces to study, different places different eating habits, customs, language, religion, etc. arelikely to impact and stress to him or her. The impact and pressure to the Uygur Collegestudents adapt to different cultural test, ethnic identity and mental health: Thoughts on someof the problems. Based on studying in Chengdu191Uighur undergraduates’ ethnic identityand acculturation were studied, through the literature review, questionnaire survey andinterviews to understand Uighur Students in Chengdu acculturation and ethnic identity.Theresults of the study show that:1, in the aspects of acculturation in Chengdu, Uygur university students mainly useintegration, separation and assimilation of three cultural adaptation strategies, Uygur studentsin Chengdu using assimilation strategies most use integration strategy, at least, in the culturaladaptation, in Chengdu to Uygur Students’ cultural adaptation degree is not high.In2, national identity, Uygur students in Chengdu mainly mainstream culture identity,positive and negative ethnic identity ethnic identity ethnic identity attitude three. In Chengduto Uygur Students’ mainstream culture identity is better, negative ethnic identity is less, inRong Uygur Students’ national identity is better.In3, Rong Uygur Students’ cultural adaptation strategies and national identity attitudesexist significant correlation, Uygur Students’ national identity attitudes influence culturaladaptation strategies, cultural adaptation strategies can be hypothesized in Chengdu UighurStudents ethnic identity attitudes.In4, Rong Uygur Students’ cultural adaptation strategies and national identity attitude isinfluenced by different demographic factors, in different grades, gender, the length of time tolearn Chinese, on national culture to the mainstream culture attitude, subjective feeling, the number of Han nationality friends such as the existence of significant difference.
