Study On The Political And Ideological Of College Students In The Perspective Of Cultural Consciousness

Under the circumstance of globalization，the western culture，thoughts and values arespreading through the world at an extremely fast speed， its influence cannot beunderestimate. On the other hand，China’s current social economic composition，organizingform，way of employment and interest relations and distribution method is becomingdiverse. College students’ thoughts and behaviors are becoming much more independent，the selectivity，variety and diversity is becoming obvious. These have positive effects aswell as negative effects. In a long period of time, our education is deeply affected by the“tool”concept, we have a misunderstanding about the effect of education, which leads to apreference to technology and intelligence rather than humanities and moral. The result isthat our college students are lack of humanities spirit and humanistic literacy，whichrestricted the development of their cultural consciousness and ability. In the communistparty’s17th meeting report，comrade Hu jintao put forward the historical task of “trainingfor high cultural consciousness and cultural confidence”to improve overall national qualityof citizen. This has put forward a new and high level of requirements for ideological andpolitical education. Colleges are important bases for talents training，are the main base ofideological and political training. In the multicultural era，it is the colleges’ fundamentalmission and requirements to train for students with high cultural consciousness andall-round development，for they would be the future leaders and builders for the socialistsociety.Therefore，this topic tries to paraphrase and make an exploration of college ideological andpolitical education from the perspective of cultural consciousness. On the base of reviewingand borrowing excellent achievements of college ideological and political education fromhome and abroad，our ideological and political education will reflect its shortcomings andcomes up with ways of improving.
