"Nadam" prairie Festival of Xinjiang Bortala Mongolia Autonomous Prefectureis an important carrier in inheriting traditional minority national sports, itsdevelopment affects the development of traditional sports of minority nationalities,it system environment that affects "Nadam" prairie festival mainly is the variousrules and regulations formulated by the conference organization, the economicenvironment is the origin of capital and the inputs of its publicity and sportsdevelopment; the humanistic environment include family environment, schoolenvironment and the social environment; The natural environment is the climateconditions and man-made objective natural environment.Using the method of literature, questionnaire, interview, mathematicalstatistics,we have investigated the development of the2011Bortala MongoliaAutonomous Prefecture "Nadam" grassland Festival, researched and analytic thephysical environment, the results showed that: in physical natural environment,Bortala Mongolia autonomous state’s air quality environment is good,"the Nadam"prairie Festival to be held in September in which the weather is suitable,will do Lessadverse effects on the athletes who will participate in the sports competition and thevenue will be used reasonable so that the contest will be held smoothly., while thedevelopment of the "Nadam" grassland Festival sports competition will also bringcertain influence and destruction to the environment of Bortala AutonomousPrefecture of Mongolia. But the environmental protection knowledge was publishedand the local people’s awareness of environmental protection was improved with thehelp of the hosting of the "Nadam" grassland Festival, in sports economicenvironment, mainly due to Xinjiang Bortala Mongolia Autonomous Prefecture islocated in the northwest of China, the economy is relatively backward, theinvestment of traditional sports project is not too much lead to the serious shortage ofsports venues and equipment as well as the lack of professional coaches and teachers.Problems in physical education system, respectively, corresponding provisions hasbeen made for athletes, referees and the rules of sports competition and award andpunishment system; sports humanities environment, family environment, schooleducation and social education have influenced the students’ learning andparticipating in the national minority tradition sports.According to the research results the corresponding countermeasures have been put forward:(1) using administrative means to protect the sports environment ofBortala Mongolia Autonomous Prefecture;（2）increase the government investment,expand the activity place, use the hardware resources rationally;（3）improve therules, let more people participate in the "Nadam" sports events;（4）build nationalcultural brand, promote the development of tourism in Xinjiang;（5）strengthen theinstruction of the minority traditional sports activity and the training of reservetalents.
