The Research On The Pattem Of The Sports Festival In The Universities In Xi'an

Physical culture festival is an important part of school sports. As an extensive exchange of many areas of campus culture, physical culture festival in universities has been paid attention.With the goal and the actual characteristic of the physical education in the new time and the modern university sports development's new situation,, this article has analyzed some questions which existed in track and field games in some Universities in Xi'an. This article studies the pattern transformation of the physical culture festival from the past sole tradition pattern to"the strong interests, the broad popularization, the high participation"in Xi'an Universities from 2004 to 2010. Through the ways of practice analysis, questionnaire, experts access, literature and mathematical statistics, the physical culture festival under the innovation pattern takes"education for all-around development"and"health first"as the guiding principle, takes"everybody participates, all-people body-building, the joyful exercise, the healthy development"as the principle, takes the health as the center, takes the education as the goal, takes the culture as the carrier, innovates many kinds of school sports form, has developed the active space and the time, has consummated the sports culture festival function, and proposed that conforms to the Xi'an Ordinary University actual physical culture festival organization and the management pattern. Through six years research, the sports culture festival under the innovation pattern composes many sports forms that conforms to the university students'age characteristic, attracts the students to participate in the sunlight sports. Thus everybody has the sports items, every class has the sports games, every college has the sports characteristics. The physical culture festival becomes the grand meeting which the teachers and students love. Physical culture festival in universities has great significance in improving the students'interest and motivation in sports, enhancing students'awareness of sports, expanding knowledge, building capacity etc.This research results will provide the mentality for the reform and the consummation of the community sports and the track and field games in Xi'an Universities.
