Ideological and political education is a spiritual pillar and driving force of growthand success of Adult Students. Only by upholding ideological and political educationas the core, it can be achieved to fundamentally strengthen and improve ideologicaland political landscape of adult students. At present, the adult institutions, as thesubject of education, also has some disadvantages in the adult MORAL education.Without sufficient attention and appropriate measures, it is very likely to cause adultcollege students at a loss and unknowing what to do when facing the society, whichmakes the research particularly important and urgent. At the same time, to ask thisquestion helps improve the regularity of ideological and political education in the newera in a broader perspective, enrich the study of ideological and political education,and thus provides a useful reference to carry out ideological and political education forgood adult institutions. The article then adheres to the method of theory withpractice to investigate the status of ideological and political education of adult collegestudents and points out the problems, and then analyzes the causes of the problem.At this moment, adult institutions attach importance to strengthening the ideologicaland political education of adult students, from all aspects of the educational content,methods, means, have done some effective work.Adult ideological and political outlook was also emerged in the mainstream ofpositive, healthy and upward trend. There is a strong consistency with the ideologicaland political landscape of today’s era of the entire student population.But with aserious reflection, the adult ideological and political education also show someproblems, such as targetings are not allowed, the content is lagging behind, ways andmeans are single, poor ambience and so on.There are objective reasons, but thesubjective reasons are more important.
