Research On Ideological And Political Education For Adult Students In Universities In The New Era

With the advancement of politics,economy,culture,education,modern lifestyle and diversified requirement for adult education,China’s adult education has gotten some development.It is undeniable that adult education has made a great contribution in promoting the overall quality of the nation.However,there is a widespread phenomenon that people pay more attention to knowledge and skills instead of ideological and political education in adult education,which makes ideological and political education for adult students is struggling to develop.At the same time the transformation of information and the advancement of globalization have greatly impacted people’s ideas and behaviors.To achieve effective development in the ideological and political education for adult students in this complicated environment,universities can’t be complacent and conservative and must make bold innovations and advance with the times.Strengthening the ideological and political education of adult students can not only provide new theoretical support and motivation for the reform and development of colleges,but also an inevitable requirement for the comprehensive development of adult students.This paper takes some universities in Gannan area as the investigation point.Through the questionnaire survey and interviews for the adult students in some universities in Gannan area,the author analyzes and summarizes the current situation and existing problems in the ideological and political education of adult students,and put forward the suggestions to improve the effectiveness and make ideological and political education of adult students walk out the dilemma from the subject and object,educational content,educational methods,educational carriers as well as educational mechanisms.
