China’s ideological and political education is an important part of personnel training, and also our Party’s important contents and basic security of ideological and political education. In the new era, in order to truly reflect the times, grasp regularity, be creative, and to enhance effectiveness, ideological and political education must be advanced with the times. And also the educational content and teaching methods must be constantly adjusted. Into the theory of non-intelligence factors, for ideological and political education has added new vitality. It not only promotes the improvement of non-intellectual factors of students, but also plays an invaluable role in the intelligence factors development.This paper summarized the existing data access based on non-intellectual factors, introduced their basic function of the meaning, and clarified the relationship between non-intellectual factors, intelligence factors and EQ. Also, with the homemade questionnaire of non-intellectual factors, the author sampled the non-intellectual factors of some of the college students, and analyzed the reasons for the formation of status. On this basis, through the analysis of the correlation between non-intellectual factors theory and ideological and political education, it mined the inner link of them, proposed the methods and the countermeasures. Those are the focus and the innovation departments of this research.The survey found that there are many problems of non-intellectual factors. Not only the students themselves have a vague understanding of the non-intellectual factors theory, while they in terms of motivation, character, or emotion, will power, are to be continued to train and improve. The value of this article lies in the practical operability of the measures. It described the specific training measures of narrow non-intellectual factors, the general non-intellectual factors in the improvement of environment and the educators themselves, and the specific teaching methods. Of course, this theory of non-intellectual factors associated with the ideological and political education theory analysis of the depth and breadth have yet to be excavated and expansion, the relevant measures to be further improved.
