The high school period is critical to development of life. The secondary sexualcharacteristics are developed quickly and physiological function continues to mature. They paymore purpose to observe and continue longer. The imagination is constantly enriched, theunderstanding memory gradually becomes the main memory style, and the level of abstractlogical thinking develops.Outward and impulsive motions gradually develop to inward andself-controlled emotions. The emotional experience is stronger than in the junior high schoolperiod. They are hopeful for the future, but the mood is volatile. The group sentimentsdevelopment rapidly but personal responsibility is relatively weak. Their rational senseconstantly enhance, have a profound understanding of gender roles. Self-identity begins to form,relationships have become new changes. Peer relations have developed rapidly began to reducethe dependence on their parents. The academic level of high school improve rapidly, they can dobiological experiments and exploration activities. Correct emotional attitude and values areforming.The material of life, the unity of structure and function, whole and part, biological andenvironmental, and biological evolutionary Constitute the basic ideology of Biology. Thedevelopment of modern biotechnology is introducing new elements into ideology of Biology.And the biological disciplines continue to have a new breakthrough. Subject knowledge is Rich,for example healthy diet, physical activity, physiological health, history of life sciences,ecological environment. Learning this knowledge can construct the students’knowledgenetworks and develop their ability of interpreting charts, experimental research, experimentaloperation and field practice; Learning this knowledge can form positive attitude, help studentsface the obstacles in the learning activities and seek solution improve learning ability in solvingproblems. Show good will and quality, improve the learning efficiency.This article analyzes the features of biological disciplines and students’development. Use the reviewing literature, observation, questionnaires and other research methods, According tothe theory of Personality development, Career development theory, Need-hierarchy theory, andthe identity matching career theory. Discuss the function of Senior Middle School Biologyteachers in students’development.The paper consists of five parts. The first part is introduction which discusses the researchlevel, research methods and the theory, defining some concepts in this paper. The second partdiscusses the development of students from six aspects: physical, mental, affective, social,academic level and career. The third part introduces ideology of ideology of biology, and biologycontent . The fourth part discusses the combination between biology and the students, whichhelps students to cultivate good habits, gives them good sexual health education, uses variousmeans to promote their mental development and to stimulate continually the morality andemotion of the students, discovers and corrects the negative emotions of troubled students ,develops and exercises the quality of their will. At the same time we should pay more attentionto the emotion upheaval of students, forming love concept and good career planning. The fifthpart is the conclusion.On the basis of previous research, the author listened analyzed and summarized the views ofexperts, scholars, teachers and students widely, explore the best ways to promote thedevelopment of students.
