The Research About Social Capital Applied In Group Work Process

Nowadays， our country is in the social transformation and social change period,we have got the social progress and rapid development.At the same time, socialproblems have gradually produced, the number of theirs also growing more and more.So they becoming a very important aspect that we can not ignore, we should takesteps to solve them urgently. Under this environment, the social work that adapt toChina’s national conditions and help to solve the social problems has gradually beenused and accepted, and has continued to develop in our country and increasinglylocalized. As one of the three main methods of social work, group work gradually getsmore scholars’pro-gaze and interest, and constantly be used，studied and discussed byscholars and professional social workers, scholars study and discuss many aspectsabout group work: such as the effect and function of it,the ethics issues, the values ofit, and the practical application of the principles and methods of group work indifferent fields and different groups. Through these researches and discussions, theyobtain rich research results, about the state of group work theory,values and ethicalprinciples that are used in the practice application, and the methods of group workthat are used in the practice.Based of the studies about group work by the scholars in the past, I make somebrief review and analysis about them, I put forward my own theory framework ofgroup work, I briefly discuss the concept of the group work, the executive process, theaffective factors in the process and the method of assessment, taking the theoreticalframework as the guidance of my paper, to guide the content of the research and thedirection of the research that through the whole process. In this paper,the author triesto take the social capital of sociological knowledge used into the executing process ofgroup work, namely how to use the professional theory and practice method of groupto applicant and integrate social capital, and to carry out characteristic groupactivities. In the executive process of group activities, through the Participantobservation applying and integrating the social capital within the group and group members, at the same time, we not only discuss the influence of the social capital inthe process of group work, but also research the protective skills and methods thatintegrate these social capitals. Besides, estimate the function and influence, estimatetheirs availability and value.This article takes qualitative investigation as research methods, select themigrant women in a community as the research object, and carry out characteristicgroup activities. Taking interview method and participation observation method tocollect data in the executive process of the group activities, finally I take the way ofqualitative evaluation to inspect and assess the conclusion of this paper. This researchperspective is different from the scholars in the past and it is my innovation. Thereason of selecting this research view, in the theory is to try to use the popular subjectof the sociology that pay attention to theory into the social work field that pay moreattention to practice, and realize the combination between different subject and theguidance and promote between the theory and the practice, actually I want to provethat the social work can compromise with other disciplines,and it is an effectivedriving force for social work itself realizes its localization of specialization in ourcountry, and it provides more effective resources and discipline environment togrowth and development for social work.
