When Social workers provide children with a variety of professional services, they pay more attention to the various effects of the parent-child relationships on children. Good parent-child relationship is a good foundation for children’s various relationships of future development, poor parent-child relationship may be reflected in the various acts of children which is adverse to children’s growth and development. For a good parent-child relationship, the social workers want to be able to gain the family experience and provide a reference for other families. At the same time social workers hope to be involved in poor parent-child relationship, and provide a number of ways to improve parent-child relationship for parents, and provide children with more choices about his growth and development.School social workers is a kind of social workers who work in the school, to the school students and their parents for the targets, who interact with students, parents, schools, communities to assist students to face the difficulties encountered in the study and growth, and to promote healthy development in their school work, friends making, emotions, personality and so on. The group work is one of the three methods of social work, which has its own unique effect in dealing with the issue of communication. This paper is mainly about a group work of parent-child communication carried out by the school social workers. Through the preparation, the implementation and the reflections about the application problems, social workers try to be able to display the whole process about the parent-child communication and parallel group from the preparation to the end.The article includes five parts; the first part describes the origin and design ideas in this group. The second part is divided into group theory and literature review, part of the parallel group of parent-child communication from the point of view of social work and psychology of parent effectiveness training, to review the relevant literature; another part is to support the theory of the team designed and carried out.The third part is the group of program design, including:the group the purpose of the preparatory work and assessment.The group design consists of six sections. Section1--hello, new friends! In order to promote the awareness and understanding between team members, establish belonging sense and team atmosphere, produce the contract, this section of children group includes "I’m social worker", the cooperation contract, color bubble and so on. The parents part is "I’m social worker", the cooperation contract, the newspaper Vientiane, etc. Section Ⅱ—"communication contact you and me" in order to promote two-way communication and expression skills. Children group mainly has hand puppets baby, hand puppets big revelation, hand puppets games, hand puppets play; parents have "question and answer","listen carefully" and "have a share", etc.The third section—"ingenuity" aims to promote the practical application of communication skills between parents and children. Two groups will joint activities. The section contents "find a friend","word guessing" and "blind portrait". The quarter—"smooth communication" aims to facilitate and express their ideas and to protect themselves from harm when face with conflicts. The children group has "fan-tan transfer","my dream"; the parents group has "balloons blow","brain storm","mirror looking", and "discussions". Section5is "parent-child counterparts". This is in order to facilitate the application of communication skills, as well as improve communication between parents and children and enhance their relationships. The parents and children joint activities—"massage dance","blind line","handyman", etc. Section VI is "review and prospect" which aims to review the communication skills and looking the future. The parents and children activities together contents of solvability of the bracelet, lucky draw, the Wishing Tree.The fourth part talks about the situations the group happened, social workers’review, and improved methods. Because the author only participated in the activities of the group of children, so this part mainly involved the part of the children group. The fifth part is the summary, the strengths and weaknesses of the group analysis, so as to provide references.
