| The Outline of Basic Education Curriculum Reform (Trial) points out,"Changing the stresses on the study method of machinery accepting, the mechanical memorizing and the repetition training in the past, advocating students’active participation, willingness to inquire and readiness to practice."With the advance of the curriculum reform of fundamental education, participating instruction has attracted more and more attention. Under the guidance of spirit of the new curriculum reform of fundamental education, participating instruction is not only a direction to the classroom teaching reform,but also a concept of the new curriculum reform. In one word,the concept of the new curriculum reform is to highlight students’subject status, to change student’s learning mode,to make students the master of learing and participate actively in class teaching. But the traditional infusion teaching problem is still serious in classroom. Students can’t participate actively in class teaching because of no preparation for study or no preview before lessons,though their teachers have made so good preparation for teaching. Exactly owing to the current background and classroom teaching situation, we have ascertained this research,expect that it can promote teacher and student’s effective participation in with preview worksheets as carriers for students’participation.At the same time,we hope that it can provide middle school chemistry teachers with some certain reference and help during the period of their practice teaching.Firstly, this paper analyzes the deficiency of the traditional teaching and the concept of the new curriculum reform, then analyzes the related researches about participating instruction in our country and in foreign countries by literature study. The theory foundation of research includes humanism, constructivism and discovery learning theory. Secondly, the characteristics are shown of participating instruction, including Subjectivityã€co-oporation〠wholeness〠comprehensivenessã€openness〠tolerance. Also it constructs the operating procedure of participating instruction and developes related teaching strategies to guide the participating instruction.What’s more, we developes all kinds of preview worksheets based on the principles such as pertinen〠interest〠briefness and practicality,which are used by students as the basic of dialogue and activities. Finally,on the foundation of the above research,we apply the preview worksheets to the above-mentioned model of participating instruction in senior chemistry teaching, we expect that it can truly realize the function and target of participating instruction by both teachers and students’preparation for lessons.Datas and evidence facts which are used to evaluate on teaching are collected by the chemistry test, questionnaire investigation and student interview after the teaching experiments. The experimental results show that there are no significant differences)in student’s chemistry study score between class six(experimental class) and class three^class four(control class)(P=0.589>0.05, P=0.44>0.05), but a significant difference is showed in the emotion participation (P=0.01<0.05),the behavior participation(P=0.011<0.05),and the cognition participation (P=0.017<0.05)In conclusion, though the participating instruction based on preview doesn’t show a prove in student’s chemistry study score,but effectively promots student’s participation in the teaching activities.At the same time,it’s beneficial to the changes of students’ learning and the role changing of a teacher in teaching.Due to the limit of the reseach time and my teaching competence and research ability, the reseach still needs further improvements and the conclusion also remains to be further checked in futrue. |
