In the long history of society and economic life on Sino-Vietnameseborder, a unique transnational marriage practices and systems built upwith common geographical backgrounds and ethnic relations. However, ithave produced fundamental changes, leaning "one-sided" trend to Chinaat this stage.This Papers rooted in the detailed field investigation, on one hand, itdescribed set of transnational marriage custom system of the current ofSino-Vietnamese cross-border marriage, and propose the two promotingfactors, which contains as its main cultural factors and outsideenvironment factors，from occurrence science perspective，and throughthe mechanism of interaction between these things to adjust and constructthe traditional transnational marriage system；On the other hand, itdiscussed both positive and negative social effects of theSino-Vietnamese cross-border marriage from the perspective of structuralfunctionalism. For one thing, it regulates the gender imbalance onSino-Vietnamese border as "social safety valve" and "national law failurefunction substitution", needed to be correctly treated and guided; Foranother, it also bring "inverse function" to destroy the harmony andstability of the border social order, we should take reasonable andeffective countermeasures to deal with in time.
