Study On Cross-border Marriage Between China And Myanmar In Longling County

China and Burma's mountains and rivers are linked together,the people of the two countries have the same root,strain,language,customs and habits.The people of all ethnic groups in border trade each other and have long-standing marriage,the marriage is basically in a kind of dynamic balance.Since 1980 s,under the tide of globalization,with the further opening of China's border,China's border economic development has quickened,and the population,goods and information have been accelerated.In recent years armed conflicts has broken out in northern Burma constantly,a large number of refugees from the Burma border rushed into our country and became illegal detention or illegal workers,some of the people in Burma border want to live a safe and stable life,their illegal marriage relationship with Chinese citizens leads to a sharp rise in the number of cross-border marriages,and shows a "one-sided" situation(Burma women marry Chinese men).Longling County is located in Baoshan City,the west of Yunnan province,having a border line of 19.71 kilometers and convenient transport.In recent years,with the rapid development of Longling County's economy,the increasing number of cross-border marriages in has the largest number and become a common social phenomenon.Therefore,the research on the Sino Burmese border cross-border marriage has great practical significance.This article is based on Longling County as a case,and adopted the methods of literature,interviews,case studies questionnaire and comparative analysis,the collection of relevant information,finding that cross-border marriage in Longling County has alleviated the imbalance between men and women in the border area to some extent,it has also brought a series of problems such as "fact marriage" increase,a lot of illegal birth and no household registration phenomenon and so on,which affected the social security and stability of the border and formed the intergenerational cycle of poverty,causing the identity crisis of the concerned personnel.These problems restrict the continued development of cross-border marriage and family and seriously affect the local and even the whole society harmony and stability.Causing the local government's social governance work in trouble.According to the analysis,the paper points out the reasons about marriage across the border in Longling county: the administrative environment is not ideal,the relevant laws and regulations are imperfect and governance mechanism needs to be improved and the effect of Burma.Therefore,the article puts forward some corresponding solutions to these problems.Besides,it also puts forward some methods to strengthen the government's social governance functions and strengthen international cooperation.
