Under the background of curriculum reform and highly advocation of quality education, in which young math teachers’teaching ability in high school are on the verge of transition. This article tries to figure out the present condition of young teachers and the growing process of excellent teachers in high school which is the last stage in basic education.As a decisive stage in basic education, the high school math teaching has its own characteristics. The research of core math teaching skills is conducive to improve teaching skill of young match teacher in high school so as to promote the development of the whole basic education.This article is based on the survey in which87young math teachers from four schools participated, and among which ten elites have been interviewed. It analyzed the mastering condition of core teaching skills and how to improve core teaching skill, subsequently put forward the method of developing teaching skills.This article is composed of three parts.The first part includes chapter one and two, mainly discussing the background, significance, reference, subject, researching method, process, and basic concept,etc.The second part is chapter three and chapter four, mainly presenting the current condition of mastering core teaching skills of young math teachers based on surveys,the method of how to master the teaching skills and the factors which hinder the development of teaching skills.The third part is chapter five, in which the author draws the conclusion and airs the prospect. It mainly proposed some useful strategies to improve the high school math teachers’core teaching skills based on the data analysis in part two.The innovation of this paper lies in generally drawing the outline of core teaching skills of young math teacher in high school so as to put forward the specific formation and developing method of core teaching skills.
