Reform On The Current Extracurricular Sports Competition Of The College In Our Country

The school extracurricular sports competition is the important component of the school sports, and it is the crucial to cultivate the students' sports interest , sports consciousness , sports attitude , good sports habit, and to form the philosophy, values. But the current situation is not affirmative. Based on the overviews of former studies and the questionnaire investigation: At present ,it has been a tradition that the school athletic meeting was held annually in many universities. But most of the athletic meetings set limit in track and field item, it is the sport for few people. Not so many people would like to take part in sport and watch the games because the sports were humdrum , bald and not attractive. It was only formalistic. The school athletic meetings haven't brought the school extracurricular sports competition into the physical education and not regarded it as one of the most important components of the physical education. Based on the sports curriculum theory , learning theory and philosophy , theory of pedagogy and psychology etc, primary discussion on the school extracurricular sports competition was put up. The main contents of this study are as follows:Discussion on the school extracurricular sports competition was put up, the contents came down to philosophy, pedagogy ,sports curriculum theory ,psychology ,etc.The school extracurricular sports competition was one of the most important components of the school sports activities, and was the prolongation of the university teachings. It should face all the school students and let all the students get benefit from it. It was the soul of the school physical education.
