Research On The Development Of Swimming Tournament Of Beijing Primary School

In recent years, there were many primary schools that swimming is not as a tradtional sports participating in swimming competition in Beijing, it has 169 primary schools’ student representatives to compete in Beijing primary and middle school students swimming competition in 2011, and it has 19 team more than 10 people and nearly 1000 pupils in the competition. At the same time, the swimming classes and swimming amateur team are also growing. As swimming become more and more popular in Beijing primary school, while only two formal competition a year and the interval between two competition is too long that will effect on athletes training effect and performance. So, taking part in the competiton moderately is the effective way to improve the ability of movement, because it can effectively stimulate the athletes’ potential at the good competition atmosphere.Based on the analysis of the present situation of swimming competition and the statistical analysis of the demand for the game in Beijing’s primary school in this article, to research the necessity and feasibility of the interscholastic swimming competition, and design a set of specific plan for competition, promote the development of inter-school swimming competition in Beijing primary school. Taking the methods of documentary, expert interview, questionnaire investigation, logical analysis and mathematical statistics to research and provide data and theoretical support for this article.Through the analysis and study the conclusions is as follows:1 The increasing of swimming competition is to provide more chances to students, and promote the positive development of Beijing primary school swimming competition. Beijing as the rapid development at the national primary swimming project, it should make leading to other cities.2 There are nearly thousand pupils taking part in the swimming game in Beijing every year, but it has only two game in every year, the longest interval up to nine months between two competition, that is not conducive to the positive development of swimming in Beijing primary school, also does not good for the student to keep systematic training.3 The demand of swimming competition subject and object for competition of Beijing Primary school is clear, and it is far more than the existing competition. At the same time, the demand of parents for swimming game is periodic. The Schools also want to increase the reputation through competition, and give students more opportunities to show themselves, let more children have the opportunity of giving the advantages of themselves.4 It is feasible to improve Beijing elementary school’s swimming competition, because it can fullfill the needs of participating subject for game, promote the development of the competing object, improve the progress of the school sports.5 New format base on the establishment of the alliance, make up for the insufficiency of primary school swimming competitions in Beijing.
