In this paper, we investigate and analyze the problems in utilizing information technology to build effective communication in high school mathematics teaching, and then propose the corresponding strategy. Traditional communication has some loopholes in the teaching practice, but information technology can provide a good platform for communication. The standards for mathematics curriculum put forward new requirements for the use of information technology in high school mathematics teaching. However, in teaching practice, there exist various problems such as superfacialization, formalization and abuse of slides and so on in mathematical communication via information technology. I’m confused about current situation. Through the review of the literature, I found that the references on how to use information technology to build effective communication in high school mathematics are inadequate. The study was limited, which needs to be put further. This inspired me to do some research.I collected first-hand information through a questionnaire survey and then analyzed them from both objective and subjective perspective. The reason for an objective analysis is that the information technology grows fast while the economic base cannot keep up with its pace. Furthermore, the college entrance examination system restricts students and teachers to put further research in this area. The reason for a subjective analysis is that the level of front-line teachers and students to make us of IT is limited and they do not pay enough attention to the awareness of use of information technology to build high school mathematics teaching and its power. For the above reasons, I propose the corresponding strategies:Firstly, use the classroom to strengthen the level of teachers and students to use IT in order to make the classroom to become the principal source for teachers and students to use information technology in teaching communications; Secondly, put efforts to train the awareness of teachers and students to build effective communication in high school mathematics teaching; Thirdly, seize those critical points in effective communication of high school mathematics teaching using information technology. Finally, perform trial study and case study on the use of information technology to build effective communication in high school mathematics teaching. The results show that this form of communication can indeed help the integration of IT and high school mathematics teaching. It helps to improve the learning styles of high school students and can provide an effective platform for sustainable development of teachers and students.This paper contributes as follows:(1) we provide a new platform for high school maths teachers and students with a full range of communication.(2) We broaden the depth and breadth of the high school teachers and students to use information technology in high school mathematics teaching.
