Today our society has entered the information time, as the development of the network technology and mobile terminal, information technology not only promotes the development of each field in life, but also provides new opportunities and challenges for mobile learning with the emergence of micro learning. Micro learning is a new learning way of the mobile learning, letting learners can study at any time and place in life. the research for the principle and methods of micro learning resources’ learning environment design based on hand-held terminal has significance of the theory and the practice.This paper mainly discussed about the learning environment design of micro learning resources based on hand-held terminal from both theoretical and practical aspects. At The Theoretical Aspect, on the basis of widely studying of the domestic and foreign relevant research, it defined related concept of micro learning and micro learning resources, analyzed the related theoretical basis of micro learning resources’ learning environment design based on hand-held terminal, and offered the principle and methods of micro learning resources’ learning environment design based on hand-held terminal. At the Practical Aspect, with the guidance of distributed cognition theory, connectivism, constructivism and situated learning theory, it used Android mobile development technology, tried to design a situated learning case based on Android mobile phone operating system by using the principle and methods of micro learning resources’ learning environment design based on hand-held terminal into practice, and summarized the problems in the design process based on the analysis of each module’s function and principle. Finally, it summarized the research achievements and deficiency of the paper, and forecasted the future research work.The researchers tried to integrate situation cognitive theory with the design and development of micro learning resources based on the hand-held terminals through this research, and found new design method for it. The final results of this study will provide larger reference value for mobile Learning about micro learning.
