School-Based Curriculum Development is an important part of the new round ofcourse reform. It concerns the social development, the time progress and the democraticconsciousness enjoyed popular support. School-Based Curriculum Development is alsoimportant for the characteristic construction of the school, teachers’ professionaldevelopment, and Students individualized growth. So its effect had no way to replace bythe national curriculum and the local course.In this study,under the guidance of the theory of the school-based curriculum andresearch study, combining the special campus culture, the characteristics and the needs ofthe students, to develop and practice the biology school-based curriculum aboutthe”food and health” in junior school. This study includes environmental analysis, coursegoal setting, the course content selecting, specific curriculum implementation, evaluationof the curriculum. The purposes of this study are to make students to pay attentions tohealth、life and society. Moreover inspiring students learning interests、showing theirpersonalities and abilities are important for the School-Based Curriculum., Through themultiple assessments, the students learn to objectively evaluate others. The research resultsshow that the School-based Curriculum Of Biology In Junior School about "Food AndHeath" can achieve the goal of curriculum, can arrive at the good education teachingeffects. The school-based curriculum fully embody the idea that Junior school biologyeducation is available to all students. The school-based curriculum also embody the ideathat it can improve the biological scientific literacy through Inquiry learning.
