Network as a new media is having a profound impact on people’s lifestyles,ideasand concepts. The younger generation grew up accompanied by the network,theirability to learn and accept is strong, the network of young students ideas, thinking,living, learning, change and influence of a very earth. Network of young students, theimpact of both good and bad, positive from negative. The ideological and politicaleducation in secondary schools should give full attention to the network’s influence onyoung people and recognize the challenges and opportunities brought about by thenetwork to the ideological and political education. To take positive measures to face thechallenge to mobilize all social forces while avoiding disadvantages; the face ofopportunities to be exploited, so that the network used for ideological and politicaleducation in secondary schools, and thus open up new prospects for the ideological andpolitical education in secondary schools, for young students healthy growth to create afavorable environment to promote students’ view of the world, life and valuesformation.This article is the analysis and study of the ideological and political education insecondary schools in the network environment. It describes the new features of theideological and political education in secondary schools in the network environment, itanalyze the five aspects of the educational content and educational functions from therelationship between the ideological and political education workers, the object ofeducation, educators and educational objects;It focus on analysis and study theopportunities brought about by the network to the ideological and political education insecondary schools. Systematic exposition of the five aspects of the ideological andpolitical education model, the means of education, student awareness, educationresources from the network; the combination of network characteristics and adolescentmental mechanism focuses on analysis of the challenges of the network to the ideological and political education in secondary schools; combination of networkchallenges brought to the ideological and political education in secondary schools totalk about the countermeasures discussed several aspects of the state, society, schools,teachers, students. Play together, make concerted efforts to pave the way for the growthof young students.
