Political Instructor is an important part of the college teacher staff, and plays an important rolein strengthening ideological and political education and student services administration. At present,along with the continuous development of the socialist market economy and the deepening ofreforms and opening, the thinking of college students has changed a lot. Undoubtedly, to pay specialemphasis on the construction of students’ political instructor team is an important guarantee to guidestudents to establish a correct outlook on world, life and value, and to develop students’ability ofreasonable cultured personality, physical and mental development, as well as to build a high qualityof moral education in Colleges. Therefore, it’s particularly important to develop a highly qualifiedinstructor staff. In the new situation, how to enhance team building of Political Instructor hasbecome the educators face the important historical mission and responsibilities.This article adhering to Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory andthe party’s "Three Represents" as guidance, persisting in implementing the scientific concept ofdevelopment, using of the method of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, studies onthe administration of U.S. college students’historical development and evolution, makes a carefulanalysis of the historical development and the role of the current student administration team ofAmerican college, emphasizes on the development trend of professionalization and specialization ofthe American college student administration staff, further researches on the concept and content ofstudy of their professional construction, makes a serious analysis on the advantages anddisadvantages of U.S. college students administration team construction combining with our Chinesepolitical instructors and sums up the positive reference and meanings to our national instructor staff.The article mainly discussed from four parts.The first part mainly studies on historical development of American college students’work andteam construction. This part mainly illustrates the meaning of American college studentsadministration, conducts a systematic review of the historical development of American collegestudents work, makes a detailed analysis from the seeds, maturity and development of Americancollege students administration, and discusses in details the current status and trends of U.S. collegestudents administration. And the author conducts the research with the combination of U.S. college student administration work, in accordance with the work ethic of the student administration team,personnel (called source), status, quality requirements, and then deconstruct the team clearly toprovide the conditions for grasping the essence of the student administration team more intuitivelyand detailed.The second part analyses the professionalization of the American college student administrationstaff. Starting from the concept of "occupation" and "occupational", the author makes a carefulanalysis of the occupational characteristics of property, the career development cycle, according tothe theory of career development, the author also studies on the development and construction of theUS’student administration staff, analyses occupational characteristics and career development cycleof U.S. college students administration team, providing strong support for its professionalconstruction.The third part mainly analyses the professional development trend of American college studentadministration. Starting from the concept of "profession" and "professional", the author clearly laysout the professional standards, according to which, the author analyses US student administrationstaff, furtherly clarify the professional development trends of American college studentsadministration staff theoretically, advancing the specialization theory of American college studentsadministration work to a new stage.The forth part consists of two parts, on the one hand, the author objectively comments on theadvantages and disadvantages of the administration team of American college students, and on theother hand, the author sums up the revelation of American college students administration staffconstruction to our national colleges in three aspects: i. Accurately grasp the rules of student work,and establish the core concept of college instructors. ii. Establish clear students ’ work contents andinstitutions, and establish more standardized system of guilds. iii. Promotes specialization anddiscipline construction of college students ’ work , and train expert, scholar college instructors.
