Consumption is the perpetual topic of mankind. In recent years, withthe rapidly economic development of our country, the material aspects ofconsumption has been gradually unable to meet the needs of people’sgrowing cultural level and spiritual, so the cultural consumption isbecoming the central issue of our people’s attention.Now our country is in the new era which vigorously advocatesprosperity, development, and progress of culture and cultural industries.Cultural consumption is becoming the main part of their daily consumptionof our college students which are the country’s builders and successors,and the quality of students’cultural consumption has influences whichcan not be ignored on their learning life, outlook, values, as well astheir ideological and moral. Students’cultural consumption has its owncharacteristics, but because students have not yet formed a mature lifeoutlook and values, coupled with China’s cultural market in its infancy,lack of standardized management, and relatively complicated, leadingcollege students easily to suffer the influences, even cause the dropsof the quality of students’cultural consumption, some of the issues havebecome increasingly prominent. This article is trying to departure fromthe questionnaire survey and analysis, summarizes the main features ofcollege students’cultural consumption and the problems existed, to seekthe source of the problems. At last, with practice, proposed educationsuggestions which guide students to be a healthy cultural consumer.This article includes four parts. The first part mainly talk aboutthe definition of relative concepts, gradually interpret the culturalconsumption of college students, then analyzed the connotation and basicelements of cultural consumption of college students. The second part isthe in-depth analysis of the questionnaire, with the form of chart or table,which make the survey data intuitively, then do a brief analysis, making fully preparation of the following work about summarized thecharacteristics and the problems of college students’culturalconsumption. In the third part, with the combination of literaturescollected, describes the particularity of cultural consumption, thenbased on the investigation and analysis, the article further summarizesthe characteristics of students’cultural consumption, and pointed outsome of the reality issues in the process of cultural consumption and thereasons for these problems. In the fourth part, the passage return tonature of these problems, propose some feasible countermeasures toavoiding these problems. Focus on the students themselves anduniversities, supplemented by the view of social and family, proposeeducation proposals from different perspectives which solve theseexisting problems. In addition to the college students improving thequality of their own cultural consumption consciously , also need theuniversities and community make joint efforts, to create a favorablecultural consumption environment for college students, and further guidethe students’active and healthy cultural consumption.
