With the development of the society, people value English study little by little, so thelevel dividing teaching method takes place.. The model tries hard to pay attention to affectiveevaluation, open up non-intelligent factors, found a good atmosphere according to differentdivided standards, dependent principals, objection of teaching including the whole and theindividual. This model focuses on not only results but also courses. Many teaching measuresare taken and enough teaching methods are also applied in order to strengthen the innermotivation of students. Implied mental is used flexibly to encourage students to getconfidence, arouse students potential to give pull performances to their skills and to enhanceteaching quality, train a kind of harmony in personal development and basic education, andcreate conditions to realize everyone’s success. The biggest character of the paper is topractice the level dividing teaching on special condition, that is, big classes which containabout 50 students. The course of practice is divided into three stages. The focus is to trainintegrative abilities, diathesis, potential of the long term sustainability of the proposals. Thecomparisons analysis among teaching achievements and results, we analyze these datum asobjective as possible so as to support strongly the level dividing teaching of the next step.The purpose of the thesis was to improve the current situation of English teaching byapplying graded teaching mode to English teaching in Class Two, Grade Seven, in JinanHi-tech Experimental Junior School. And in order to find out the teaching effect, the authorchose its parallel class-Class One as the controlled class. The experiment was kept for oneterm. Before and after the experiment, two test paper (pre-test paper and post-test paper) wereused to investigate students’performances on English achievement. At the same time, aquestionnaire on English learning was also used in the study to investigate students’learningsituation before and after the experiment.According to the experiments, graded teaching in English was more effective inimproving students’interest of learning English and also in the result of the examinations thanthe traditional ungraded teaching mode. The graded teaching methodology is based on thepremises that there are differences among the students. The graded teaching is carried out to all the students in the same classroom. The methodology can contribute to the improvement ofteachers’qualities. I can stimulate the students to play their major role in the teaching andlearning processes. And it can also help to develop the good habits of learning.
