The Research Of Volunteering For Sports Events In Colleges And Its Operation Mechanism

Colleges are the critical places for development of teenagers’volunteering. The volunteering for sports events in colleges whichplays an important role on physical education can solidly confirm thesuccessful conduction of sports events in colleges. On the basis ofthe current situations and operations of volunteering for sportsevents of colleges, the thesis intends to provide some availablereferences for the sustainable development of volunteering for sportsevents of colleges.In order to achieve objects of the thesis, some volunteers whoparticipate in volunteering for sports events are treated as subjects.500 college students respectively come from Shanxi University,Shanxi Normal University, University of Science and Engineering in Taiyuan，North Central University, Datong University, CommercialCampus of Shanxi University and Campus of arts and science ofShanxi University, 440 of which are picked out efficiently at randomas samples. The thesis makes use of Document literature, Interviews,Questionnaire, and Statistics to carry out the research. Especially,the validity and reliability of the questionnaire accord with thescientific requirement and can be accepted.The results of the research can draw a conclusion that there isno enough publicity for college volunteering. That is to say, collegestudents are not fully aware of volunteering of sports events.Therefore, it is shortage of trainings of professional skills andrequisite qualities. Besides, because of lack of reasonable systems,students don’t receive correct guidance, which indicates that theorganizational system falls behind. The insufficient system, includingrecruit, training, motivation, guarantee, and assessment, has animpact on service qualities, process of the sport events, awarenessand attitudes of volunteers. Additionally, in the research, somepersonal information of volunteers is involved in, including politicalposition, age, attitudes towards sports. Further, the correlation is tobe analyzed between recognition and actions of volunteers, theirenthusiasm and services.To sum up, it is necessary to enhance the training of professional skills and qualities and improve cognition and motivation ofvolunteers. And in order to ameliorate system of the volunteering forcollege sport event, cultivation of consciousness of participation involunteering of sports events is inevitably in colleges.
