Minority college students are a very important and a special part of college students.They are the main forces to promote development of Guizhou areas. In addition, theirideological quality and ethical standards directly influence the development and stability ofGuizhou. Belief education is the core of the universities’ ideological and political education.Paying great attention to believe education is not only an important means for advancingethnic minority university students’overall development, but also an important approach totraining builders and successors of socialism career. In recent years, with China’s openingpolicy deepen ceaselessly, the social politics, economy, culture, and many other areas alsoappeared profound changes. At the same time, all kinds of thoughts into China, Collisionsappear in different cultures and different values. All of these changes have impacted andinfluenced the Minority students’ belief and have made challenges to our belief education.With the help of many literatures and questionnaire survey, this paper focuses on the belief ofthe minority college students in Guizhou areas.Firstly, this paper illuminates the connotation of belief education in Guizhou areas, andpoints out its background, content, innovations and research significance. Secondly, this paperexplains the connotation of the faith, and points out the functions of belief to personal andsocial role. Introduced in detail the beliefs of the main types and illustrate the faith and beliefeducation relationship, all the works provide the theoretical basis for Guizhou minorityuniversity student faith education. Third, the paper examines the minority college students’individual beliefs,moral beliefs and society beliefs. Mainly analyzes how they think about thefaith and the troubles when they choose their beliefs. Finally, after we grasp accurately thebelief in Guizhou minority college students, we found that there are four factors affectedminority students’beliefs. They are society, school education, family education and Minoritycollege students themselves. The paper puts forward a lot of measures to solve the presentproblems in beliefs education for minority college students of Guizhou.Most of the early studies which were about Guizhou minority college students’psychological problem,there is no research is about their beliefs problems. This paperabsorbs fully and makes use of the existing studies’ achievements and experiences, and thenthis paper made a systematic analysis of the minority students’ beliefs. The paper fills thevacancy of the correlative research. I hope the study could improve their beliefs educationlevel, so that they would do contribute to Guizhou.
