The Research On College Students’ Idolatry And Its Guidance Of Ideological And Political Education

College students are the hope of the nation, carry out the historic task to achieve the great rejuvenation of China. College students are the future of the motherland; they are the backbone of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The dynamics of their thoughts, words as well as their behaviors would have an important impact on the future development of society. We should have a concern. Idolatry is a popular phenomenon in the university. It affects college students’ the view of world, outlook on life and values shaping. This research, from the current situation of college students’idolatry and the guide of ideological and political education, can be helpful for improving the current situation of college students’ idolatry, as well as the expansion of the field of ideological and political education. This paper is divided into three parts:ChapterⅠ:The connotation of College students’ idolatry, the relationship with ideological and political education and the value analysis on subject research. This section mainly focuses on the meaning, characteristics and the type of college students’ idolatry, analyzes the relationship between college students’ idolatry and ideological and political education. It points out that college students’ idolatry has wonderful value of ideological and political education and need the construction of ideological and political education. Meanwhile, this part also analyzes the theoretical and practical value of this research.ChapterⅡ:This part analyzes the status of college students’ idolatry. On the basis of survey research, This part have a clear cognition on the performance of college students idolatry, It indicates that there is a series of issues on college students’ idolatry, such as college students’idol worship exists cognitive bias and emotional infatuation, consumer idols is prominent, college students’ idolatry has a negative influence on moral development and so on. Meanwhile, this part analyzes the causes of the existing problems.from the following aspects:the lack of the guidance of college’s ideological and political education, negative effect of the social environment inappropriate family education, and the improper own psychological deviation. ChapterⅢ:This part discusses the measures to strengthen the guidance of ideological and political education on students’ idolatry. This part about the countermeasures is on the basis of the comprehensive analysis of college students’ idolatry status and the causes of the problems. There are four measures:firstly, college education should play the leading role in the guidance of college students’ idolatry; secondly, creating favorable social environment for college students’ idolatry and the guidance of ideological and political education; thirdly, attaching importance to the family education in the guidance of college students’ idolatry; finally, analyzing the role of college students self-education.
