In the background of rapid industrialization and urbanization, China city has experiencing reconstruction and evolution of the spatial structure. Follow the rapid development of social economy, there are a series of problems in some big cities, such as traffic jam, declining air quality and so on, it has incited a common concern of academics and relevant government departments. With the process of urbanization in Beijing, the traffic congestion and commuting time in rush time more and more serious in recent years. This paper study the Beijing commuting, and use the statistical methods and spatial analysis methods to research the impact factors about jobs and residential separation in Beijing. In order to explore the internal power mechanism jobs-residential separation in theory, and provide recommendation to improve the current situation of Beijing jobs and residential separation in practice.By means of summaries and analysis the previous interrelated studies, it put forward the theoretical framework and technology roadmap:the paper refer urban geography, behavioral geography and spatial analysis as the theoretical basis, and the commuter phenomenon as the starting point. it use quantitative research and qualitative analysis, focus on the impact factors of Beijing jobs and residential separation. Through the analysis of existing research and methods, the paper’s techniques and methods include single-factor analysis of variance, logistic regression analysis and spatial regression analysis.Empirical studies have shown that the average commuting time of Beijing residents in2010is about43minutes, it present significant growth trend compared to2005. So, Beijing Jobs and Residential segregation is common phenomenon, it have space dislocation residential and employment. It shows that age, gender and other factors are the impact factors of Jobs and Residential segregation via single factor variance analysis; by means of further logistic regression analysis show that residential location, employment areas, educational background and enterprise unit scale impact apparently on the Jobs and Residential segregation, considering the space auto correlation the analysis results show that the spatial heterogeneity have great influence on the sample overall; meanwhile, residential area characteristics, educational background and unit scale have great impact on. We found the spatial characteristics of the residents commuting time show obvious spatial autocorrelation via the research, it reflect the role of the first law of geography; but by means of the study the impact factors about Jobs and Residential segregation in different regions, it found the spatial heterogeneity have greater influence on it in major cities. it need to consider the spatial correlation when we study Jobs and Residential segregation, of course, it must pay attention to spatial heterogeneity. Finally, it put forward the successes and shortcomings of this study, and the questions what further analyze in-depth.
