Survival, the most fundamental explanation should be the existence of life, which is living. In the age of various frequent natural disasters and an increasing number of people who advocate field survival activities, geographical survival education is imperative. However, the research of geographical survival education in our country is still in initial phase.By document research and summing up my own teaching experience, this paper reviews the advances in the geographical survival education in recent ten years and points out certain issues awaiting to be studied. To solve these problems, this paper provides a preliminary probe.This paper points out the connotation of geographical survival education and unearths its content preliminarily. By introducing some typical practice of cases, this paper discusses the significance and teaching strategies of geographical survival education simultaneously. The results show that the geographical survival education is helpful to develop survival view. The geographical survival knowledge and skills can be teaching material related to actual life. The geographical survival education promotes to carry out the heuristic teaching. This paper also discusses other teaching strategies of geographical survival education.In order to test the effect of the practice, this research investigates students in a questionnaire. According to the report, most students are interested in geographical survival education. After a period of study, the value of geographical survival education is affirmed by the students. |
