With the rapid development and changes in educational technology and theemergence of the new pattern and the new view of it, the exploration and the researchof workers on the issues of educational technology have never been stopped. In1990s,post-modernistic trend of thought was introduced into China, and had a profoundimpact on many fields. Thought of post-modernism and educational technology havea lot of similarities, especially on the aspect of characteristics and properties.Therefore, exploring educational technology from the perspective of post-modernismcan bring new ideas to the research, and it is consistent with the thoughts ofeducational technology in nature. The rapid development of technology has also led tothe improvement in the field of educational technology. Many effects and phenomenaof modern technology in the technology sector will also be produced in the field ofeducational technology. Educational technology which regards education as the coreand the carrier should pay much attention to the problem, and ppropriatecountermeasures and solutions should be given. Tracing back to the origin, themodernism is rooted in art. In fact, there are a lot of similarities and complicatedrelationship between educational technology and art. The art of educationaltechnology has provided educational workers with possibilities and conjectures tosolve the problem of modernity of technology in the field of educational technology.The aim of this article is to explore the art of educational technology on the basis ofpost-modernism.The first part of this article will introduce the the background of the problem, andthe purpose, the significance, and current situation of the research. The next partcomes to the analysis of the problem of modernity. Firstly, the art of moderneducational technology will be elaborated with emphasis on high degree of unity.Starting from the view of neutral theory, the research on the value of load will be carried on, and the nature and origin of it will be found. Then, it will analyse thephenomena of modernity and find where it roots. Finally, the article will analyse andsummarize the post-modernistic characteristics of educational technology, and do aresearch on its active role in the field of educational technology. This solution of theproblem will be given in the third part. This part will put forward some feasiblemethods to solve the problem about modernity in the field of educational technologyand explore a new way of adding art to the development of educational technology.
