With the rapid development of urbanization in China, more and more ethnic minority population flow into cities, especially big cities. As a special group, the ethnic imigrants’city lives and adaptation problems have gradually caused the scholars’attention. At present, China’s urban social spatial structure is in the process of transformation, urban social resources and urban structure is undergoing profound changes. These new factors and new changes appear in cites have profound impacts on the urban adaptation of ethnic immigrants. Therefore, it will be better able to parse adaptation state of this group in cities, and dig out the deep contradictions and problems covered in their urban adaptation from the perspective of urban social spatial structure transformation to research the urban adaptation of ethnic immigrants. Meanwhile, the research in this aspect has important theoretical and practical significance for expanding the width and depth of the current urban social spatial structure transformation in China, enriching urban planning sociological research content, and further improving the guidance of urban planning, speeding up the urban integration of ethnic, as well as constructing harmonious society city.Based on the principles of sociology, ethnology, measurement geography and urban planning sociology to research, this paper employ general methods such as combining macrocosm with microcosm research, qualitative with quantitative research, normative with empirical studies.Uses the urban social spatial structure transformation of Lanzhou as research background, based on the research angle of national characteristics, this paper analyzes the multi-dimensional urban adaptation level of ethnic immigrants in Lanzhou. These specific studies include:Firstly, analyzes the current theories about urban adaptation, this paper, as well as, reviews the current research progresses of urban adaptation of ethnic immigrants in domestic and abroad. Secondly, based on the analysis of basic information of ethnic immigrants and urban society spatial structure transformation in Lanzhou city, the article further studies the relationship between urban society spatial structure transformation and the urban adaptation of ethnic immigrants, continues with an analysis on the effects that urban social spatial structure transformation to ethnic immigrants in the aspects of economic, social and cultural psychology. Thirdly, from the perspective of national identity, this paper analyzes and quantitative evaluates the urban adaptation levels of ethnic immigrants in the four aspects of environment, economic, social and cultural psychology under the efforts of urban social spatical structure transformation. The following conclusion as:①The overall evaluation of ethnic immigrants environmental adaptation of Lanzhou is in the level of general adaptation.②2000-3000Yuan of monthly family income is an important stage, which determines ethnic immigrants can adapt to the city life or not.③The overall evaluation of ethnic immigrants in Lanzhou is in the level of adaptation, but the total score of it is too small which reflects its psychological adaptation level is relatively low.④The composite score of ethnic immigrants in Lanzhou is1.214, which reflects its overall performance is in the level of adaptation. Finally, based on the above research conclusions, from the perspectives of urban social spatial structure transformation and national features respectively, this paper provides regulation strategies for ethnic immigrants better to do urban adaptation and intergration.The article applies fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, multiple linear regression and other methods to study of the urban adaptation of the ethnic immigrants, which is a try in application of research methods, so as to have more and more rational quantitative methods in the study of this field.
