The Entrepreneurial University To Interact With The Regional Economic Development

In the era of knowledge economy, the higher education sector needs to develop and make corresponding changes to the situation. Attributed by popularization of higher education, college financial capital constraints and other multiple causes of working together,some America universities have gradually explored a new model of university" Entrepreneurial University". This university performs the function of developing the high-tech and new industries, assumes the mission of increasing the economy development of the region, and then advances the country’s competition.This paper focuses on the "interaction" of such a center, to explore the relationship between the entrepreneurial university and the regional economy in the United States. Its main tasks are:The Etzkowitz’s triple helix model,as a basis, to define the concept of "entrepreneurial university" and reveal the developmental characteristics. Analysis of how to form a triple helix in the region by Government-Industry-University;Explore the role played by the entrepreneurial university in the United States in terms of regional personnel training, scientific research and social services; Analysis of regional economic development of the entrepreneurial university in development funding, direction and development opportunities; By comparison, we can reveal the problems of our universities and the development of regional economic interaction, and specific recommendations.This dissertation is divided into four parts:The first chapter describes the research background and significance; an overview has been made to introduce the main content of this study, the framework and methodology; a literature review on domestic and foreign experts and scholars on the "entrepreneurial university" and the development of higher education and regional economic interaction; to define the main concepts of the paper.The second chapter details the triple helix model. Analysis of the main content of the triple helix model, the basic characteristics of the entrepreneurial university in the triple helix model, to explore the regional government, industry and learn how to form a triple helix in the region and three in the knowledge space, the convergence of space and room for innovation, innovation and industrial development.The third chapter explains interactive relationship of the entrepreneurial university and regional economic development.Analyzed the relationship between higher education and economic development are interdependent and mutually reinforcing.Example of the unique role played by the entrepreneurial university in the United States in the process of regional economic interaction, as well as regional economic how to give the entrepreneurial university resources for development.On this basis, summarize the two sides constitute the interactive mode of development.The forth chapter comparative and summarize the existing problems in the interactive development of the Regional Economic and Regional Higher Education, based on the experience of the entrepreneurial university in the United States and the interaction of regional economic development, make some suggestions to the higher education development.
