The rapid development of information technology, as Internet technology, multimedia technology and network technology has made the present society is in a great transformation. With the Internet technology application for background, Internet technology is sweeping all sectors of society. Along with the information technology are widely used in education, it create a new way for the spread of knowledge and culture, also caused a revolution of educational ideas, content and way. People try to create a new teaching in the network, and educational virtual communities combined by network learning and virtual communities have drawn increasing scholarly attention. To the development of educational virtual communities rely mainly on the "popularity", and finally complete teaching and learning according with the requirement of the curriculum target, and having "popularity" will have the interaction between people. Communication can form relationships, so people in the whole network relationships, location and the role of the network are to be studied. For this kind of relation network research, the author thinks that the sociology of social network in research methods and the virtual community research can be combined.Based on this, this paper will be from the perspective of social network to study education virtual community interaction effect. By sociology, social network and related theory knowledge and methods, combined with the educational virtual community of learning and teaching practice based on the course of "learning science and technology", the author will used social network research for educational virtual community interaction effect.This paper summarizes the present situation of research, and on these basis points out the present problems and the future direction of development. Through analysis the connotation of educational virtual community association, we reveal the meaning and characteristics of educational virtual community association. Then we introduce the social network theory and social network analysis method and analysis tools and find the meeting point of social networks and educational virtual communities, then describe in detail in terms of macro, meso and micro. Then the posts interactive situation in the virtual community of the second half of2010semester of the08educational technology for teaching undergraduate course "Learning Science and Technology" as a case study and data sources, using SNA software to analyze the relationship data in educational virtual community, we select the characterization of the density of the network structure, the Cohesive Subgroup, the role of peer and so on indicators of participation in group interaction analysis, so that reveal the interaction effect of the overall network, the network of medium-sized organizations and individuals. Thus in view of the analysis result, we use the "heterogeneous" and the "structure character" theory in social network to explore the enhancing strategy of the effect of the educational virtual communities interaction. Finally, the paper summarizes achievements and prospect of study.
