Analysis On The Use Of Color In Group Calisthenics Performances In The Opening Ceremony Of China’s Modern Large-Scale Sports Meeting

Color plays an important role in large-scale calisthenics performances. It has an overall effect and brings a strong visual impact on the performance, It fully reflects the unique style of performance group calisthenics. In opening ceremonies, people can easily distinguish the difference between the color of clothes in group calisthenics performances and that of clothes in our daily life.This paper research on the peculiarity of color using in the opening ceremony of China’s Modern large-Scale Group Calisthenics, analyzes the colors used and classifies and summarizes them. Taking it as the starting point, this paper aims to find the related factors, such as clothes, props, lights, sites and their relation with color. Taking the representative calisthenics performances in the opening ceremonies of the14large-scale sports meetings as samples, this paper classifies and summarizes the colors used in the group calisthenics performances in opening ceremonies of China’s modern large-scale sporting meeting in the way of induction, statistics and inference, from different perspectives such as the color of clothes and props, etc.The conclusion of this research are as following:1)The women prefer to red, green and yellow on selection colors about costumes and props,But the men prefer to white and yellow.2) There are67sub-themes in the cal isthenics performances in the opening ceremonies of the14large-scale sports meetings. There are22sub-themes use one tone, accounting for part of the theme of the32.86%.30sub-themes use two tones,(44.78%)and15sub-themes use three tone(22.39%).3) The actors wear the costume with the control of switcher or with light changes colors and multi-layer colors of clothing become into the mainstream. 4) The actor handheld the props what not only change colors but also change the shapes become the Group Calisthenics inherent forms. But through light chiange colors become into the trend.5)When two colors needed, good matches are as following: red and yellow, red and white and blue and green, etc. When three colors neded,the good match is as following: red, yellOw and white. When four colors neded: red, yellow, blue and green.
