Kindergarten art activities in senior class is a kind of special cultural education to cultivate children's originality and creativity,so that children can mobilize a variety of senses to express their own experience and emotional experience,art is an important part of kindergarten education.activities Color is an important artistic element and expression technique in the art of painting.Senior class children are in the period that can use color in purpose,consciously recur the surrounding,and can express their experience.The color has a strong attraction to children's brain and can awaken the pursuit of beauty in their lives,yearning and expression,improve children's aesthetic ability,to achieve awareness,operation,emotional,creative integration.Most of the research at home and abroad are focus on the history of color research and professional art color design,the kindergarten art activities on the application of color is relatively scarce.The purpose of this study is to study the color of the paintings in art activities of senior class children,and to further explore the color application features.Starting with following aspects:Are the senior class children have gender differences between color preference and practical application of the color?Is the choice of color consistent with the form and content?Is there have expressive force of color in painting and whether the color name is creative?To further enrich the children's color application-related research,to make up for deficiencies.In this study,42 children from two senior classes of Dalian S kindergarten were selected as the subjects,including 22 boys and 20 girls,aged 5-6 years old,no one is color blind.To find out the features of color application in art activities among senior class children,In this study the author uses clinical interview method and product analysis method.The results are shown as below:(1)Color preference and practical use of color are influenced by gender difference.(2)Children always choose the color that does not perfectly match the form and content.(3)Lack of expressive force in color application.(4)The names of colors are not creative.According to this,the researchers made the following recommendations:collective creation,mutual evaluation;color appreciation,rich experience;optimize the environment,inspire thinking;not to stick at trifles,creative imagination.
