Studies On How To Strengthen The Moral Function Of Communist Youth League Of Secondary Vocational Schools In New Period

It is the Party’s basic requisition on the Communist Youth League (CYL) to carry onideological and moral education to adolescents. The CYL has an intense connection with themoral education. Its characteristics of being a political organization and having a closerelation with the adolescents determine the CYL’s special superiority in the moral educationof the secondary vocational schools. In the secondary vocational schools, students are CYL’smajor working objects. Therefore, the CYL is a main functional department of these schoolsand moral education is the major work of the CYL, which requires that the CYL should notonly carry forward the glorious traditions, but also make a breakthrough from those traditions.Combining the practice of the CYL’s work in the secondary vocational schools and therelative theories of educational management science, this paper firstly analyses the CYL’sstatus and funcations in the secondary vocational schools. It still discusses the connectionsbetween the CYL and moral education, noting that the leading ideas, assignments, workobjects and activities of them are basically the same, which concludes that playing the CYL’ssuperiorities in political, organizational and performing aspects can help students develop agood morality. Secondly, this paper discusses the issues of education, mobilization and serviceof the students and the protection of theirs rights by performing the duties of the CYL in thesecondary vocational schools. Through the surveys, I find out several major problems in thecourse of the CYL’s performance and analyze the reasons for them. At last, this paperdiscusses the ways to strengthen the moral functions of the CYL in the secondary vocationalschools, including the development of operational mechanism and working method, theconstruction of working carriers of the CYL, which serve as the focal and difficult points ofthis paper.By the questionnaire survey, interview, observation and other ways of study, this paper mayhelp cadres of the CYL in the secondary vocational schools to broaden their minds, perfecttheir methods and explore new ways so that the moral functions of the CYL in those schoolscan be strengthened and the students of these schools can receive better education from theCYL.
