Study On University Students' Political Socialization Of China

Political socialization is the process in which members of the society gradually acquire political cognition and participation ability and individual social beliefs and views are integrated into their own attitudes and behavior patterns in social and political life.Political socialization is a continuous process which is the unity of the inheritance of political consciousness and innovation.The political socialization of college students is one of the main contents of the political socialization of citizens,which plays an important role in the construction of socialist democratic politics in China.Studying the political socialization of contemporary college students is helpful to improve their comprehensive quality.It is of great theoretical and practical significance for social harmony and stability and the long-term stability of the country to study the nature and present situation of College Students' political socialization.Based on the questionnaire survey,the political cognition,political attitude,political emotion and political behavior of college students are collated and analyzed.We recognize that the mainstream of the current political socialization of college students is positive,healthy and upward.The political cognition of college students is gradually mature.College students have strong political consciousness,political attitude,strong political position,noble political sentiments,high political concern and positive political participation.The sense of participation is significantly higher than that of the previous college students.The political socialization of college students are still some problems such as political cognitive bias,political identity,political attitude fuzzy has double identity,political convictions are unstable,political emotional indifference,lack of political interest and political participation are utilitarian,the low level of public participation.The internal cause of these problems is there are some defects in the quality of College Students.The external causes of these problems are the defects of family political education,the lack of Ideological and political education in schools,the influence of peer groups on each other and the complexity of mass media information caused by social and political environment.These measures can be adopted to promote and optimize the political socialization of College Students.These include improving the political identity of contemporary college students,providing a harmonious home education environment,optimizing the content and structure of Ideological and political education in schools,optimizing the social environment of College Students' Political Socialization,which includes establishing a standardized community organization and using of mass media especially the intermediary role of network media.We should promote the political socialization of contemporary college students and promote them effectively.
