College students possess good physical health, improve their academic performance,training cross century talents is the important premise. But due to many reasons, the physicalhealth of students is not optimistic. In order to improve the students’ physical health problems,the Ministry of education, the State Sports General Administration to carry out" the CentralCommittee of the CCP about deepening educational reform and comprehensively promotequality education decision", and in order to understand and monitor students’ physiquecondition, in2002July, the Ministry of education and the State Sports GeneralAdministration jointly issued the" Student Physique Healthy Standard" implementationrequirements, requirements colleges and universities across the country since2003, the startof the new school year shall be prescribed by the Ministry of education test items and scoringmethods, to college students for physical tests.Based on the Yangtze University College of engineering and technology in a2011-2008oil professional undergraduate students’ physique health test data as the research object,through the method of literature, questionnaire, mathematical statistics and other researchmethods to the university student physique health status of research, specifically for theYangtze University College of engineering and technology in a2011-2008oil professionalstudents’ physique health data do the relevant research, the results show that, the universitystudent physique health status is not optimistic, each individual test, only the grip force resultsin excellent rate is higher, failure rate is low, the other is the basic qualification. The studentsare in the sub-healthy state, and Petroleum College students employment has certain specificcharacteristics, they are great part of outdoor work, on physical quality is more demanding,this constitution, are not up to the national physique test requirements. On the part of students’physique health status of research, not only is the school education needs, or college studentsown development needs, are all Petroleum Colleges and universities and the nationaleconomic development, this article in view of the existence question, put forward thecorresponding proposal, the research results have certain general and representative, forvarious oil the school sports work to provide reliable basis, it has important socialsignificance and the practical significance.
