A Study Of College Students’s Political Psychology

Political psychology, as an important content of the theory of Politics, is an issue of common concern in recent academic circles.Contemporary college students are the builders and successors of the socialist cause and the pillar of the motherland prosperity. Their political psychology is influenced by many factors, including Chinese and western political culture and tradition, as well as the emergence of the social problems in the cause of the reform and open and social transformation process. There appear many problems that misfit the construction of the political civilization of Chinese characteristic socialism. To Identify these problems and analyzes the reasons, and to conceive the contemporary university students’political psychological feature and to find a way to cultivate the students’healthy political psychology is the subject of this thesis.This thesis is divided into six parts. Preface of this paper mainly expounds the background of the subject, the theoretical and realistic significance of the subject, overseas and domestic research status, methodology, the problems that expected to overcome and the shortcomings of the research. Part one introduces the definition of political psychology and contemporary university students’ political psychological feature and analyzes the connotation and relation of the term. Part two analyzes contemporary university students’ political psychology condition, through questionnaire, test and experimentation and summarizes the contemporary university students’political psychological characteristics, and especially points out the existing problems. Part three analyzes factor of unhealthy political psychology and its cause. Putting forward the conception of’ ought to be and will be’in order to provide the theory basis for further exploring the contemporary university students’ political psychological education paths. Part four discusses the way and method of cultivating the contemporary college students’ political psychological health through three aspects. First, through political cognitive, emotion, motive and attitude and other aspects, that college student should have a political psychological preparation for the transformation from’natural person’to the’political person’. Then, it analyzes the effect of college, Internet, social practice and political theory courses in order to build a stable, harmonious, healthy, fair and justicial social environment. Thirdly, it analyzes the joint efforts to solve the negative effect that social problems caused to the political psychology of college students. The conclusion part refines and summarizes the content of all pars and analyses the shortcomings of the process of researching.
