The Study Of Political Socialization About Our College Students

From1990's, expanded enrollment policy in higher education was implemented in China, as one rapidly pullulating group, college students have been an important political vigor. Its political socialization not only dominates their individual future and destiny, but also effects the nation's stabilization, development, flourish and subsistence. Thereby, the research on political socialization of college students has important signification. Under directing of Marxism Theory, this paper is based on politics, sociology, social psychology and youth science to study and explore the problems in political socialization of college students'. The paper is divided three parts as follows. In the first part, the intension and essence of political socialization is discussed, then the political socialization of college students' is defined as the procedure of college students become a part of political system through the study, spread and development of political culture to have the ability of political consciousness and behavior capacity. Also it is analyzed of four characters, three functions and meanings of the political socialization of college students'. In the second part, it is actuality analyzed of the actuality of the political socialization of college students'. The analysis concludes the mainstream of China's political socialization of college students' is active, healthy and positive which has yet has the problems of political cognizance faintness, political emotion confusion, political faith departure, political tropism neutralism and political participant blindness, etc. Also the reasons of the above problems is also analyzed which is the factors of the students themselves, social influence, college education, family education and western thoughts, etc. In the third part, based on the discussion and analysis of the above two parts, it is given of six ideas to improve and optimize the political socialization of college students', which are strengthening realization of importance of the political socialization of college students', definite the develop aim of the political socialization of college students', keeping the correct theatrical direct to support the political socialization of college students', constructing new mode of college ideology and politics education to improve the quality of the political socialization of college students', making an environment for the political socialization of college students' and strengthening politics practical exercise.
