With economic development and the door open outward to people, their ideology and the public concept of marriage are also changing. The changing concept of marriage has not only brought new ideas and new understanding; it also brings some negative impact. Marriage education as an educational activity can help people understand the connotation and characteristics of marriage, to enhance the skills to solve marital problems, enhance the intimate relationship of husband and wife. It also can help people solve the problem of marriage and family problem.I have tried to implement marriage education activity in a community in Xi’an, evaluate the effect of activity’s impact and analyze marriage education to promote analysis of the factors. Then I try to put social work into marriage education, and research the local promotion of factors. I use the participant observation and structured interviews to collect individual information to participate in marriage education activities. I use grounded theory to analyze residents of urban communities in China, who had participated in such marriage education activities. I have obtained the factors of marriage education to local promotion. They are individual internal driving, cultural dynamics, demand cognitive abilities, the degree of family relationship and community development. These factors interact to each other, promote the development of marriage education and provide a favorable value for the social work involved in marriage education. That is the strong support to marriage education, which enter into communities and use the form of support group.
