With the rapid development of social economy, the population aging faster, people demand for pension is also more diverse. Mutual endowment is under the background of aging population, integrated home endowment and community endowment and institution endowment of a new endowment way, effective for alleviating aging pension pressure,multiple places across the country for the corresponding practice, Shaxi town, is currently faced with the serious aging population situation, and actively explore the practice in order to make the local of a mutual community support for the old man enjoys old age.Social work characteristic of the "help human to help oneself" concept and professional job skills in the service of mutual community support, able to provide more professional and scientific community of elderly endowment experience, can improve the level of pension service scientific, professional, enhance the sense of self-worth and effectiveness in the elderly, meet all kinds of the elderly pension demand, improve the quality of the elderly endowment.By studying the Shaxi town`s practice of mutual community support for the aged,using questionnaires and interviews data collection method, based on the basic situation of the community elderly and their needs the status quo, and to study the community endowment service, understanding of social work in the main work in the practice of a mutual community support for and methods of analysis of the results and the existing problems, and according to the existing problems from the government, social workers and community three point of view put forward some countermeasures and suggestions.
