In the era of information, rapid development of network technology and informationtechnology enabling network become an important channel to information. All kinds ofnetwork technology advance by leaps and bounds, new technology constantly emerging andpopularization, all this is gradually changing people’s life and work. Web2.0provides animportant way, for the learners, to exchange information and to cooperation. In addition,because of distribution of information resource, learners and teachers are not in the sameplace, learners must cooperate and exchange by network, and operation of Web2.0hasbecome an important ability. Therefore, to develop learners’ cooperative learning ability isparticularly important, how to improve students’ collaborative learning ability in networkenvironment has very important practical significance.Although this is a great convenience by huge growth of network resources, but this alsobrings a challenge. Facing the vast multitude of information, how to get the right informationpricisely and efficiently become a big problem. It also caused the learners’ lost in the forest ofinformation, they waste too much time on low relevance resources, all this problems neednew technology and theory to be settled for bettle Collaborative Learning. The emergence ofRSS technology, has provided us with a kind of new tools for information acquisition andreading, it also provides a new way of interactive for teachers and students learning resources.In order to solve the above problems, this paper see RSS as a breakthrough, borrow ideasfrom RSS, analyzes the feasibility of using RSS to develop the cooperative learning, based onConstructivism Learning theory, distributed cognitive theory and CSCL (Computer SupportedCollaborative Learning, hereinafter referred to as CSCL) theory, set activity theory as the core,design the cooperative Learning model based on RSS, and introduced the model. In order toverify the feasibility of the model, and carried out the relevant application research, andreceived positive response.
