The development of students is the main focus in the newcurriculum reform, where the important educational concept that isteacher-led and student-centered is put forward to emphasize thecultivation of students’ ability and to focus on the improvement of theirlearning efficiency. The educational concept of active learninginvolves some relative researches in some fields such as pedagogy andpsychology and motivates students flexibly, thus enhancing theeffectiveness of students’ learning and demonstrating the real meaningof the new curriculum reform.The teaching strategy of active learning is used in academicstandard test for senior two students by carrying out some activitiesincluding group cooperation and competition as well as the design ofinteractive learning plan between teachers and students, whichchanges the traditional teaching pattern for revision lessons. It canleads student to acquire active, reflective and cooperative learningwith whose help they learn how to study independently and theirabilities of analyzing and solving problems will thus been improved.Students will benefit from it all their life.This research includes the following:The first part: Through literature study the content of new curriculumreform in physics, the troubles facing current academic standard testfor physics, the basic theories of active learning and research results ofactive learning both home and abroad are illustrated.The second part: Review of building active learning teachingmodels in the revision of senior two academic standard test for physicssuch as group cooperation and the method of interactive learning planbetween teachers and students is illustrated, putting great emphasis onteacher-student interaction of teaching design, democratic teaching atmosphere and comprehensive use of teaching methods.The third part: Conduct contrast experiments to study theapplication of active learning in academic standard test for physicsamong senior two students. Relevant questionnaire and tests arecarried out to test the gains and losses of the experiments.The fourth part:It is proved that the application of active learning inacademic standard test among senior two students is able to motivatestudents, enhance their awareness of participation, and increase theirabilities of analyzing and solving physics problems. As a result, theaverage score of the test is improved.
