Modern teaching media uses a state-of-art instructional technology——Geometers Sketchpad, and its application to mathematicsteaching makes the original abstract and boring classroom becomeactive and interesting. students can do it by themselves, operation canbe observed with the eye, and exchange the discussion in the learningprocess, it can train the students own sense of learning, a spirit ofcooperation and rigorous scholarship, and promote the overalldevelopment of students.Geometers Sketchpad not only can accumulate vivid material formathematics, it can also be integrated students a variety of senses andlet students visually observed, show the specific teaching and learnmaterials to students intuitive induced intuitive thinking, thinkingmaterial from the present dynamic found and suspect assumptions,looking for the same change, so appropriate use of the GeometersSketchpad to mathematical inquiry-based classroom teaching canimprove students imagination, develop students abstract thinking.Use Geometer mathematical inquiry learning, to avoid reliancesolely on the Geometers Sketchpad, because it does not fully promoteautonomous learning, teachers in teaching under the guidance ofteaching theory and learning theory to the Geometers Sketchpad inteaching as cognitive tools, through the use of it, students can obtaininformation, analyze information, process and use information, andthese capabilities eventually become into their own habits andbehavior, but also cultivate an innovative spirit and practical ability.
