In the "opinions of strengthening and improving ideological and moral construction of minors on further ", The CPC central committee required in the ideological and political education should emancipate our minds, see truth from facts, advance with the times, adhere to people-oriented and reality, life, student, and make efforts to improve the ideological and political education of targeted, effective, attractive and appealing. But in the ideological and political education, educators often ignore the students’gender differences, lack of concern for male and female college student sex personality, affect the educational result of the ideological and political education, and it is not conducive to physical and mental development of college students.Through empirical study, Gilligan can critically benefit from traditional moral development theory and research the moral development of men and women from a gender perspective. Finally, he finds out the gender ethics about the different routes of male and female moral development. From a gender perspective to examine the current ideological and political education, analyzing the current ideological education of male and female students in terms of ideology, psychological and behavioral gender personality with the general principles of gender ethics not only broadens the horizons of the ideological and political education, but also helps to improve the relevance and effectiveness of the ideological and political education to promote students’overall coordinated development.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the paper is divided into three parts. The first part describes the ideological source of Gilligan’s gender ethics, content, and its positive significance. The second part describes the current situation that the educators ignore the gender difference in the ideological and political education, and analyses the reasons for this situation. The third part, with the Gilligan"s gender ethics and our current ideological and political education, summaries several enlightenments to the ideological and political education from the gender perspective.
